The launch of SAND Issue 28 at Lettretage in Berlin was a great time. I really enjoyed reading Slow Day to so many people and the rest of the lineup was fantastic. The piece is quite painful but having such a warm and caring reception for it made speaking it aloud much easier. The print copy of SAND is a beautiful work of art, BTW. Get your hands on it while you can!

Next to publish is the Sore anthology in early July. I have been working with the Sore crew since the beginning of the year on a text for the new edition and I’m so excited to share it. Chiral Girls is about disability, multiverses, and the Devonian era. Sounds fun, right? lol. Launch party & readings in Berlin and London TBA!

Pretty much right after, on July 26 the anthology Triangulation: Dark Hearts by Parsec Ink will be released! This is a spec anthology of women anti-heroes. My piece Perfect, As In A Body is a tale of gene-editing cosmetic surgery set in my old hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Body Horror? You Betcha.

And looking into the autumnal near-future, I’ll have two pieces out, the first in hex in August, and then in the Fall issue of The Dodge. More on those to come, but it’s feeling pretty crazy that I’ll have a short story or poem published almost every month for the rest of the year, and the schedule for 2026 is already looking full.

And speaking of crazy unbelievable things, I am so excited to finally spill that I’ve been enrolled for over a month in the Granta Writer’s Workshop. I’m using this 8-month intensive workshop to write my first novel. More to come on that lmao ❤

Thanks for reading ❤ this was too many updates lmfao sorryyyyy
